I joined Alexander Hall in July 2007 on the trainee adviser program and started as a move consultant where I developed my knowledge of the property market. Once I was CeMap qualified, I moved over to the mortgage adviser role where my training continued.
A typical day consists of liaising with my clients and third parties to get a mortgage approved and ultimately help my clients achieve their property dreams. I am also in close contact with my Case Manager to ensure our clients get the best possible service. The aspect I enjoy most is building long term relationships with my clients, seeing them start on the property ladder and helping them with all their future property needs. The key for me is that we have strong lender relationships and access to a wide range of mortgage products which enables me to advise and offer my clients the best possible solutions.
The rewards of doing this job are not only monetary – we are given opportunities to participate in various incentives where a reward might be taking part in a company weekend away or a trip to the races.
