After graduating from the University of Leeds in 2005, I returned home to London with the intention of starting a successful career. At a very early stage of looking for a job, a good friend of mine recommended Alexander Hall. He spoke highly of the energetic and enthusiastic work environment, the enjoyment he got from his role and the fantastic career opportunities available. Needless to say, I did not need a great deal more convincing and very quickly completed the interview process.
After a thorough training programme and successfully completing my CeMAP examinations, my first role was at the Alexander Hall city office. As soon as I stepped into the office, I was amazed at the working culture and huge team spirit which has contributed to a very enjoyable and gratifying role.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a Mortgage adviser is meeting new clients on a day-to-day basis, all of whom are unique in their financial circumstances and thus require their own bespoke solutions. Ultimately, the satisfaction comes with educating clients on the mortgage process and assisting them in making the right decisions in what is a significant part of their financial life planning.
Alexander Hall offers huge scope for individual career progression and success. It's a growing company with immense potential and a variety of opportunities. I was promoted to the role of Team leader in 2012 and enjoyed supporting my team to achieve their goals and ambitions. This role served as a successful pre-cursor to being promoted to Sales Director in 2015. With excellent guidance and support, I am now responsible for the performance and standards of the entire adviser base.
