Alexander Hall About us Careers Meet our people
I joined Alexander Hall in 2003 after graduating from Exeter University with a degree in English and completing my CeMAP exams. I had always wanted to move to London and work in the city so a career at Alexander Hall was a great achievement for me and I was looking forward to the diverse and challenging role ahead.
I very quickly settled in and really enjoyed speaking to clients and helping them to achieve something as emotive as buying a house. The office had a great atmosphere as well which always helps.
Due to my work ethic and drive to do well I qualified for Rare Club at the end of 2004, which also enabled me to get my own mortgage well before I ever thought possible! A couple of years later I was promoted again to Team Leader where I looked after a small team of brokers in Islington. Then in February 2008 I was promoted to Sales Manager which was a fantastic achievement for me. I have always wanted to get into management so was delighted to be given the opportunity to manage a team of 20+ brokers.
I have since become heavily involved with the training induction for both new brokers and Foxtons negotiators and have also assumed responsibility for managing our lender relationships, which means a greater level of responsibility and an opportunity to work with some of the most respected people in the industry.
Alexander Hall has some fantastic incentives and due to my hard work and commitment I have had the opportunity to go on some great trips abroad, including skidooing in Reykjavik, hot air ballooning and a safari in Sun City and then last year to Cape Town, which was incredible.
